These Barton kits are built with 7-ply 100% Kapur for the toms and floor toms, and have a thicker 9-ply Kapur for the kick (ply thickness measures .9mm each +/=.03mm). All of the drums feature a outside rounded/inner 45 degree bearing edge which allows for maximum responsiveness from the shells.
