Yamaha’s Japan Vintage, SG Series 2000, loved by many artists, is now in stock. It started from Santana’s custom order, and after going through a transition, it has been on the market since 1976.
Due to its detailed specifications, this is one of the first 1976 models and is considered an early type. It has a 6-piece maple top and a mahogany pancake body.
It features a maple and mahogany through neck. Sharp and powerful sound that never fades.
The bridge has been replaced with a Kahler bridge. No spring is installed and it is not arming.
Escutcheon has been replaced. Jack has been replaced. Lock nut has been modified.
Pick guard is missing. Rod cover is damaged and cannot be installed.
Pick guard hole is still there. There are dents and paint chips near the control panel.
Overall, there are scratches, dents, metal rust and tarnish, and it looks quite used.
