The TS808 1980 #1 Cloning mod is a reproduction of the 1980 TS808, which was numbered “#1” and had very rare characteristics among the many vintage TSs collected.
However, during its development, there was one specification that was well received by players, although it was slightly different from the complete cloning of the #1.
It was not a perfect reproduction of the dignified tone of the original #1, in which both high and low frequencies were clearly audible, but a specification with a little more mid-range fullness, a so-called TS-like tone.
Later, that specification was released on a trial basis as a derivative of the #1 Cloning mod, and later brushed up in response to a questionnaire from purchasers, resulting in this TS808 1980 #1 Cloning mod.
There are some minor scratches and stains on the exterior, but there are no operational problems.
